Throwback: MusicProfessor's First Stint in the Studio

August 2012 – Los Angeles, CA. The MusicProfessor team has completed the filming of beginning flute, clarinet, oboe, and saxophone courses, an accomplishment which tops off its online series of beginning woodwind lessons. MP kicked off its first series in August 2011, when MusicProfessor CEO Corey Fleeman recorded beginning bassoon lessons with world-renowned bassoonist Leslie Massenburg. Once the videos were edited in early 2012, it was clear that what once started out as a project to record a beginner lesson series for a single instrument had evolved into a massive, comprehensive project with a continuous timeline for expansion. With growth in mind, MP planted roots in Los Angeles, CA to film with handpicked, esteemed university music professors and industry experts to create something that had never been done before: an ample online library of beginner-level music courses for multiple wind instruments.
